30 is the new 20

fairly recently i took a test on realage.com and the results were that based on the calendar i am going on 30 but based on my health and interests i am actually going on 22. although i do seem to be a bit more fragile than i used to be.

which got me to thinking that i want to accomplish some things this year. i figured id make a detailed list to keep me on track...

expectations for 2k7 (bold: completed):

1. get my mcse in messaging and vista certification (sql 2005, if time permits)
2. 3 set bench press, 10% increase from 205lbs to 225lbs
3. 3 set standing barbell curl, 10% increase from 90lbs to 100lbs
4. 3 set squat, 25% increase from 225lbs to 275lbs
5. all other exercises, 10% increase
6. consistently workout 5-6 times a week
7. drop to and stay consistently below 12% body fat from current 15.5%
8. eat healthier, learn to cook at least 1 new dish a month
9. thin out my face
10. go on a date with at minimum 1 model
11. introduce myself to at minimum 1 super-model
12. travel to brazil and argentina
13. save at least $1k per month
14. wake up earlier without the aid of an alarm clock, 6am
15. meet at least 1 random person each month
16. get a cool tattoo
17. milk the potential out of the ps3 and psp
18. hit at least one HR out of the stadium in irvine softball league

this is all i got for now, but as 2k6 winds down ill be adding to this list.

to close, the hottest chick from the funniest show that you probaby aint watching, cobie smulders from "how i met your mother".

smile like you mean it

sometimes when i need a good laugh i read this amusing story a past coworker blogged about an "incident" we experienced... needless to say i have not received my baby koi!

although her recollection of specific details is not entirely accurate and the text of our conversations, have been manipulated for the sake of her own entertainment.

missing out... and shit

so last night i got back from home the gym and turned on the tube and caught the last 30 minutes of the Victoria Secrets fashion show. i think this is the annual show they air on tv, but this was the first year that i actually watched it. thanks to HDTV, my girl, alessandra, simply stated, she looked spectacular. she is one amazing lady. some criticize that her legs are shorter than most models. but what can i say, im such a gentleman that i can see past these slight imperfections. actually there were quite a few beauties taking it to the runway. its safe to say, i should be pretty busy in 2007 trying to keep up with all these beauties. have you seen the legs on these women. YOWSERS!!!!

i finally got my hands on a PS3. actually it should be here by tomorrow. already ordered a new plantronics voyager 510 bluetooth headset so i can use it with the Ps3. ordered me some HDMI cables from monoprice, great pricing on high end audio cables, etc.

grammy shammy

i guess this confirms that i have been living under a rock this year. check out this years grammy nominations:

Record Of The Year
Be Without You (Mary J. Blige)
You're Beautiful (James Blunt)
Not Ready To Make Nice (Dixie Chicks)
Crazy (Gnarls Barkley)

Album Of The Year
Taking The Long Way (Dixie Chicks)
St. Elsewhere (Gnarls Barkley)
Continuum (John Mayer)
Stadium Arcadium (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
FutureSex/LoveSounds (Justin Timberlake)

first off, im not entirely sure what the difference is between record of the year or album of the year, but judging by the nominations im guessing it doesnt mean shit. you seriously have got to be kidding me with these nominations. most of these artists had only 1 hit single on their albums and it still sucked like shit. i havent heard one song from mary j on her nominated album. gnarls barkley only had 1 single i can remember. i havent heard one song from mayers album. JTs song is F'n lame. now i have heard a few songs off the chili pepper album...

its seriosuly an injustice that sams town by the killers wasnt nominated. every song on that album rocks and even the hit single was used by major league baseball during the playoffs, on fox sports before football games on sundays, and its even used by ESPN before their friday night basketball games. "when you were young" is what i would consider probably the top single this year and the F'n album wasnt even nominated. listen to sams town and tell me which single doesnt rock. theres probably 10 songs on that cd that i can listen to that makes me feel like getting off my ass and out sprinting a bmw m3 in a quarter mile in my running shoes.

i guess i should take consolation that "when you were young" was nominated for best rock song and best video, but noooooo i wont. because i know the killers will get screwed by the chili peppers. "dani california", albeit a decent song that sounds like any other chili peppers song, will obviously win because im sure the grammy judges have only heard of the chili peppers.

im actually pretty damned surprise that "chasing cars" by snow patrol was nominated for best rock song. i mean, its a good song, but wow. i didnt think snow patrol had that kind of following. even their album is better than any of those nominated for best album or record of the year.

injustices like this require a calming dose of eva

my brazilian roots

so i was talking to a friend today and i managed to convince her that we should get a group of friends to go to brazil. only catch is -- that she needs to plan it cause i dont know anyone else who wants to go. so ive spent a good portion of today researching traval guides to brazil and such.

then it dawned on me. i actually have roots in brazil. i mean i am heavily invested in a brazilian holding company that distributes, generates, and sells energy. ive been investing in them for a couple years now. since i first heard about this company from my favorite capitalistpig.

my first trade was when the shares were at $22 and its gotten as high as $52 since ive held it. its currently at close to $41. ive reinvested a few times and id say CPL makes up about 15% of my portfolio now. not to mention CPL pays a very nice dividend. and the dividend continues to grow after each payout.

so i definitely will have to visit CPL in sao paulo.

new kid on the block

#1 #2

its official. the day has come. jessica alba, my number 1 girl has officially been replaced by pampita. never thought id see this day, at least not this soon, but alba has been getting so thin and pampita is so much fuller. plus i found some videos last night of pampita on youtube and she is just so smokin. her real name is carolina arduhain and she gets the nickname pampita cause it means the girl from la pampa which is where she hails from. but i have to admit, i love the way jessica dresses when she goes casual or when working out...

ive been feeling a bit fem of late. for starters ive really been into wearing my compression socks. i mean, the more i look at them the more they look like panty hose but i just love the way they feel. i mean, they keep my calves compressed when i am working out, but they also keep my legs nice and warm when i wear shorts. and if you know anything about the weather here lately, its been pretty cold in the evenings. ive been wearing them primarily at my softball games because ive always been prone to pulling my hamstring when running short bursts, but since ive been wearing the compression socks i havent had any injuries.

ive also started taking an energy supplement called REDLINE and i am not getting the supposed benefits. i think my body adjusted to ephedra way back before the FDA banned it. i used to be addicted to the ephedra version of hydroxycut but ever since it was taken off the shelves i have yet to find a suitable substitute. none of the ephedra free fat burners have had any affect on me. then i read about REDLINE and how some people report that it causes the body to shiver and then heat up. but ive been taking REDLINE now for 2 weeks and i seriously havent felt any different. i need my ephedra based fat burners man.

oh yeah, have you guys heard of that new cell phone tracking technology? basically you go to this website and you enter a cell phone number and they can triangulate your location. its pretty crazy. its a free service in BETA right now... so for you sick bastards who are closet stalkers, go ahead and enter your ex's phone number and find out whos shes sleeping with tonight or catch your partner cheating on you tonight.

legs like sugar

dont you hate it when it seems like everything makes sense and then all of a sudden something hits you that seems to knock the world off its axis? you know how it is... when it seems like youre least expecting it, it always seems to happen?

well i had one of those moments this morning. minding my own business, surfing the internet, catching up on some reading of the evermost SEXY blogs from the past week. wham bam, thank you ma'am...

just when i thought the face reigned supreme. the tone (hue and texture) of this specimen are not of this world. its too bad she smokes otherwise shed have a chance with me.

but still, ale never tasted this good.

by they way, i made this thumbnail myself! finally got around to installing photoshop on my work laptop. amazing how legs like sugar can motivate.
