1 down... but still stylish

so i guess it isnt the sox... last season in the irvine softball league i played like shit in my black under armour compression sox, but i ripped it up in my red sox.

well... tonight, i went back to the black sox and i knocked off one of my resolutions for 2k7... i hit one out of the stadium! estimated at 305 ft. it was sweet and sorta sucky at the same time because i got out of my first 3 at bats. the first 2 i was trying to hit it out but only made it to the warning track. after my first at bat the defense started playing me deep. everytime i came to bat they yelled, "power!". my last at bat we were down 3 runs with 2 outs and a runner on. so i just tried to get a base hit and i jacked over the left field wall. it was strange to watch the ball leave the yard. i guess i know what it finally feels like to see one clear the wall now. we lost by 1 run because our next batter got out. but anyway, it feels good to get the first one of the year and hopefully many more to come.

it was actually quite a feat cause it was like 55 degrees outside and its a single wall league and they use the dead yellow balls. so the environment was not conducive to hitting one out. after the game the other team gave me props for hitting it out. well i should only be getting stronger as the year goes on as long as i stick to my workout regime. which has been pretty good to me. im the strongest ive ever been and i plan to keep it up.

oh yeah, so the other day i went out to dinner with a friend i hadnt seen in awhile and whos been married for a couple of years. we were driving back and catching up and i was telling her about the style i like in women these days... the conversation went something like this...

i say, "well i like the low rise jeans look especially worn with the dark colored bra and a light colored blouse where you can faintly make out the dark color bra... leaves just enough for the imagination. whats that style called?"

she says, "its called, youre a pervert!"

i almost crashed the car laughing... going 80 on the 405.

now i just need to meet 1 random person this month. got to pace myself on my resolutions...
